Our senior team’s experience spans quantitative and qualitative research, and operations specialisms. Directors are supported by account managers and executives.
David Penn is the founder and MD and has built the company into one of the UK’s largest research independents. He is a pioneer of innovative online research methodology, bringing together neuroscience, behavioural economics and cognitive linguistics.
Before starting Conquest out of sheer frustration with what many research agencies had to offer, he amassed a wealth of experience in marketing and research on both client and agency sides of the business, honing his skills at Unilever and UB. David has published and presented widely on marketing and brand research – at MRS, ESOMAR, WARC and ARF conferences.
Imelda has 25 years market research experience, specialising in innovation and product development. Her extensive knowledge of concept and product testing has been gained working with numerous high profile FMCG and beauty sector clients, in the UK and internationally. She worked with both Research International and Market Tools before joining Conquest in 2013, and shares our passion for delivering insightful research, coupled with a strong commitment to client service.
Stephanie joined Conquest in 2012 from Holden Pearmain and has over 10 years’ market research experience. Equally at home with complex NPD projects or brand & comms, she has successfully managed a wide range of both ad-hoc and high-profile tracking studies across a range of industries. She has a particular passion for spotting (and helping to optimise) successful new products and for measuring the impact of advertising and brand communications on brand health.
Stephanie is a graduate of the London School of Economics.
Senior Account Manager
Anush joined Conquest from KANTAR and has over 5 years’ experience in the consumer research industry. She has well-rounded exposure to a wide range of research methodologies, including extensive knowledge of tracking, NPD, mix testing and simulated test marketing. She has helped a major client to develop entire research packages, customised to their industry, which have been implemented globally in over 40 countries.
Anush holds an MBA in Marketing and Finance and a Bachelor’s in Physics.
Director Of Operations
Before joining Conquest in 1999, Wayne sharpened his data processing skills at RBA and NOP. With 20 years’ experience in the field using a wide range of software, he set up Conquest’s online division in 2005, and has been integrally involved in promoting and prioritising the Company’s innovative online offer including our award-winning tools. Wayne has headed up the operations side of the business since 2009.
Marketing and Innovation Director
Shona joined Conquest in 2016. Her role is to help us continue to develop product and service innovation in research that is focused on solving our clients’ problems.
Shona has extensive client-side experience to draw on, including 15+ years of marketing, sales and general management at Unilever, UB Brands and Mars, as well as consulting for a wide range of businesses including FMCG, financial services, retail and the pharmaceutical industry.
